About the Equity Training Series
The Equity Training Series is part of our commitment to fostering leadership development and advancing justice and anti-oppression work across the state. Designed to provide robust capacity-building opportunities, these sessions are open to our alumni network, community-based and public organizations across the state, and other leaders who are dedicated to enhancing their leadership skills. We recognize the importance of continuous learning and the need for spaces where leaders can refine their abilities, deepen their understanding of justice issues, and stay informed about the latest strategies in anti-oppression work. Through this series, we aim to equip leaders with the tools they need to navigate the complex challenges they face in their work and to empower them to create meaningful change within their organizations and communities.
Each training is intentionally designed to create space for learning, discussion, and reflection. Participants are encouraged to bring their own experiences, skills, and knowledge into the conversation, making the sessions collaborative and relevant to real-world challenges. This peer learning model fosters deeper connections across our network and allows professionals to apply new insights directly to their work.
